Kuningan Canangkan Gerakan Menanam Pohon

Kuningan Terkini - Pemerintah Kabupaten Kuningan mencanangkan Hari Menanam Pohon Indonesia, Bulan Menanam Nasional dan Gerakan Perempuan Tanam dan Pelihara Pohon Tingkat Kabupaten. Kepala Dinas kehutanan dan Perkebunan, Ukas Suharfaputra mengatakan, gerakan menanam pohon adalah sebagai sarana edukasi, peningkatan kepedulian, kemampuan dan kemandirian seluruh komponen masyarakat akan pentingnya menanam dan memelihara pohon.

“Kami mengajak seluruh komponen masyarakat untuk melakukan penanaman dan pemeliharaan pohon secara berkelanjutan untuk mitigasi perubahan iklim dan merehabilitasi hutan dan lahan dan mempercepat terwujudnya program lahan kritis nol,” ujarnya.

Pencanangan gerakan menanam pohon tersebut, pihaknya akan menanam sebanyak 1000 batang bibit pohon. Terdiri dari durian montong 400 batang, rambutan walahar 200 batang, mangga arumanis dan cengkir 200 batang dan petai 200 batang.

“Juga bibit tanaman untuk penghijauan lingkungan sekolah sebanyak 2000 batang yag terdiri dari jenis Glodogan sebanyak 1000 batang, kenari 500 batang dan Pilicium sebanyak 500 batang yang akan dibagikan ke 20 sekolah dan ponpes,” ungkapnya. (DHE)
