SMP-SMA ITUS Buka Pendaftaran Siswa Baru

Kuningan Terkini - Tahun ajaran 2015-2016 masih enam bulan lagi. Namun, sekolah-sekolah swasta favorit sudah membuka pendaftaran siswa baru untuk jenjang SMP dan SMA. Salah satunya adalah SMP dan SMA Islam Terpadu Umar Sjarifuddin (ITUS) Kuningan.
“Untuk jenjang SMP dan SMA kita sudah mulai membuka pendaftaran. Gelombang pertama mulai 1 Desember 2014-28 Februari 2015. Sedangkan gelombang kedua 1 Maret-30 Mei 2015,” kata Direktur Yayasan Umar Sjarifuddin H Harry Gumilang SE didampingi Kepala SMA ITUS M Sidik dan Kepala SMP ITUS Diding Juanda, Rabu (7/1/2015).
Dikatakan Harry, sekolahnya menawarkan 3 program kepada para calon peserta didik baru. Yaitu program regular, program boarding school dan program wajar ITUS sejati (WISE). Meskipun dari tahun ke tahun peminat untuk bersekolah di SMP-SMA ITUS bertambah, tapi untuk kouta siswa dibatasi. SMP hanya menerima 192 siswa untuk 6 kelas dan SMA 100 siswa untuk 4 kelas.
“SMP hanya menerima 6 rombel dengan setiap rombelnya 32 siswa. Sedangkan untuk SMA hanya 4 rombel dengan setiap rombelnya 25 siswa,” ujarnya.
“Untuk program regular, memudahkan siswa-siswi untuk pulang pergi atau antar jemput. Program boarding school yang memperdalam Islam baik di sekolah maupun di asrama ITUS. Sedangkan program WISE menawarkan program pendidikan selama 6 tahun dari SMP hingga SMA dengan biaya yang terjangkau dan kompetitif,” beber Harry.
Untuk fasilitas sarana dan prasarana sekolah lanjut Harry, bahwa sekolahnya memiliki fasilitas yang lengkap dan mendukung sarana kegiatan belajar mengajar.
“Kita punya gedung sekolah yang representatif, asrama, sarana olahraga milik sendiri seperti kolam renang, basket, bola voli, tenis meja dengan alat bantu robot dan futsal. Untuk laboratorium ada fisika, komputer, bahasa, kimia dan biologi,” ujarnya.
Ditambahkan Kepala SMA ITUS M Sidik, SMP-SMA ITUS memiliki beberapa program unggulan untuk mengembangkan potensi siswa. Ada program minggu berbahasa, tahfidz dan tahsin, tiap bulan ada motivasi ESQ, shalat dhuha, shalat tahajud.
“Untuk minggu berbahasa, ada 4 bahasa yang dipakai. Yaitu, bahasa inggris, arab, sunda dan Indonesia,” ucapnya.
Untuk prestasi, siswa ITUS setiap mengikuti berbagai lomba pada level kabupaten dan provisni sering mendapatkan juara. Sedangkan untuk prestasi nasional, siswanya berhasil meraih medali perak olimpiade komputer nasional dan yang terbaru mendapatkan juara 1 quiper matematik tingkat nasional.
“Pasca lulus pun, kita membantu mereka untuk masuk perguruan tinggi negeri favorit. Bahkan ada alumni kita yang masuk Akpol. Untuk keterangan lebih lanjut mengenai pendaftaran dapat menghubungi sekretariat PPDB atau mengakses www.ituskuningan.sch.id ,” pungkasnya. (DHE)
