BKBPP Gelar Dagang Produk UPPKS

Kuningan (KaTer) - Badan Keluarga Berencana dan Pemberdayaan Perempuan (BKBPP) Kabupaten Kuningan, Rabu (16/4/2014), menggelar Dagang Produk Usaha Peningkatan Pendapatan Keluarga Sejahtera (UPPKS). Kegiatan ini bertempat di RM Lembah Ciremai dilakukan saat Rapat kerja Daerah Program kependudukan, Keluarga Berencana dan Kesehatan Kabupaten Kuningan.
Sejumlah aparatur pemerintahan seperti Wabup Kuningan, H Acep Purnama, Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Kuningan, H Radji sampai Kepala perwakilan BKKBN Provinsi Jawa Barat, Ir. Siti Patonah menyempatkan diri untuk menikmati suguhan dari hasil kreatifitas industri rumahan dari kelompok UPPKS binaan BKBPP Kabupaten Kuningan.
Kepala BKBPP Kabupaten Kuningan, Hj. Poppy N. Puspitasari menuturkan, kegiatan gelar dagang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan cakupan kuantitas dan kualitas program Keluarga Berencana melalui kegiatan kelompok UPPK. Merangsang kreativitas kelompok UPPKS dalam mendesain produknya, membantu membuka akses pasar dengan mengenalkan pada pembeli perkotaan.
“Gelar dagang juga dimaksudkan untuk mempromosikan sejumlah produk-produk unggulan dari sejumlah daerah binaan agar lebih dikenal oleh masyarakat luas, sehingga menjadi produk-produk bersakala nasional,” katanya.
Sejumlah hasil kreatifitas industri rumahan itu kata Poppy, diantaranya ada kue-kue kering, makanan ringan seperti keripik singkong, ubi jalar, kerupuk, kerajinan tangan seperti tas-tas cantik, pernak-pernik untuk kaum perempuan dan masih banyak lainnya.
“Kalau untuk harga tas cukup terjangkau, paling mahal Rp 65 Ribu. Semua bahan merupakan hasil daur ulang dari sisa-sisa limbah industri berbahan sintetis,” ucap salah seorang peserta UPPKS Karya Mekar, Nia Kania Dewianti saat tengah melayani sejumlah pembeli.
Menurutnya, usaha yang telah dilakukan sudah berlangsung selama hampir 5 tahun. Namun, salah satu kendala yakni pada sistem pemasaran. Walaupun dari segi penjualan saat ini telah merambah sampai ke luar kota seperti Bekasi, Purwakarta bahkan hingga Jakarta.(AND)
