Saat ini, Aktivitas Gunung Ciremai Normal

Kuningan Terkini - Tidak seperti gunung Bromo di Jawa Timur yang terus aktif mengeluarkan debu tebal, gunung tertinggi di Jawa Barat, yakni gunung Ciremai di Kabupaten Kuningan, saat ini, Jum’at (18/3/2016) aktivitasnya berjalan normal. Hal ini sesuai dengan informasi yang diberikan Pusdalops BPBD Kuningan.
Berikut informasi lengkap yang diberikan Pusdalops BPBD Kuningan yang diamati di pos pengamatan gunung Ciremai, Desa Sampora, Kecamatan Cilimus pada bulan Februari 2016. Secara visual, cuaca pada umumnya mendung, angin tenang, suhu udara minimum 23 derajat celcius, maksimum 29 derajat celcius.
Gunung Giremai sering nampak terlihat jelas dipagi hari, siang dan sore tertutup kabut. Asap kawah tidak nampak. Hujan tercatat sebanyak 31 kali dalam 28 hari, baik gerimis, sedang maupun deras.
Sementara untuk kegempaan, tercatat gempa tektonik jauh sebanyak 112 kali, AMPL maksimal 42 mm. gempa tektonik jauh sebanyak 12 kali, AMPL maksimal 40 mm. Gempa vulkanik type A sebanyak 71 kali, AMPL maksimal 40 mm. gempa vulkanik type B sebanyak 20 kali, AMPL maksimal 39 mm. dan gempa tornelo sebanyak 4 kali, AMPL maksimal 35 mm.
Kesimpulannya, aktivitas gunung Ciremai saat ini dalam keadaan normal. (l.hakim)
